Before Derek and I decided to have a baby we always talked about the things we could do to cut costs and our fingerprint on earth. We have done lots of research and talked to many new parents that are trying to be "green" in the process. One of the things we decided to do was to buy cloth diapers instead of traditional disposable diapers. Kill two birds with one stone. Although they are a bit pricey up front, in all the research I have seen, it is much more cost effective to use cloth diapers, especially since now a days you can register for them online and get most of them without ever paying a penny. We decided to go with BumGenius. We LOVE them. Ogden does too!
One of the local places we found to buy them was Mom's Milk Boutique in West Frankfort, IL. This boutique actually has a lot of different types of cloth diapering systems as well as many other earth friendly products. We have bought laundry detergent from them as well. I can't wait to visit in person, I am in the process of saving up! Visit their site and see what they can offer you!
