Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!!!

Before Derek and I decided to have a baby we always talked about the things we could do to cut costs and our fingerprint on earth. We have done lots of research and talked to many new parents that are trying to be "green" in the process. One of the things we decided to do was to buy cloth diapers instead of traditional disposable diapers. Kill two birds with one stone. Although they are a bit pricey up front, in all the research I have seen, it is much more cost effective to use cloth diapers, especially since now a days you can register for them online and get most of them without ever paying a penny. We decided to go with BumGenius. We LOVE them. Ogden does too!
One of the local places we found to buy them was Mom's Milk Boutique in West Frankfort, IL. This boutique actually has a lot of different types of cloth diapering systems as well as many other earth friendly products. We have bought laundry detergent from them as well. I can't wait to visit in person, I am in the process of saving up! Visit their site and see what they can offer you!

Fill in the blank...

My friend Missy filled this out and inspired me to do the same. I hope you enjoy!

1. When I'm nervous
I get very antsy and can't sit still.

2. My favorite item in my closet well items would be my scarves...I love scarves!!!

3.
Baking tasty treats is my favorite thing to do when I need to relax.

4. My favorite childhood memory is spending time in the county with my mom and brother, playing, laughing, fishing, eating...

5. Something you may not know about me is that I would rather have a gigantic sized kitchen for my family and friends to come over any time, day or night, and spend time with me and my family rather than have a living room with a t.v.

6. A true friend never leaves you or forgets to call.

7. Something I hope people think of when they think of me is love and friendship...during this season of my life I am really focusing on becoming a better friend to my friends also learning to love faithfully and completely.
